This infographic provides highlights of the 2023 impact of Strong Fort Erie Neighbourhoods (SFEN). SFEN is a community-based, volunteer-driven charitable non-profit organization. Its mission is: “Strengthening the fabric of our community through connection and support.” 2023 Impact highlights for the year include:
- 6,900 Community Meals, fueled by 8,000 volunteer hours
- 350-400 Community Contacts for neighbours in need & Age-Friendly initiatives, fueled by 1,400 volunteer hours
- 1,400 Personal Product Bank bags distributed, fueled by 144 volunteer hours
- 16,800 Children’s Nutrition lunches delivered through 3 local schools, fueled by 7,000 volunteer hours
- Value of SFEN Volunteers work in 2023: 17,444 hours @ $27.00 = $478,988.00
