YES (Youth + Engagement = Success) Niagara is led by a group of individuals representing various youth serving agencies in the community with two key goals: 1. To be a communication lead for youth service providers 2. Provide professional development and networking opportunities for youth service providers. Our vision is to facilitate collaboration between community partners whose focus is the provision of services and programs for youth ages 12 and over. Key objectives:
- To provide relevant professional development/training opportunities to youth service providers
- To share relevant information amongst youth service providers (currently through an electronic distribution list and LinkedIn group)
- To increase efficiency in accessing relevant information to youth service providers
- To act as a sounding board for granting opportunities
- To provide networking sessions to allow for exchange of information through a social means for youth service providers
