On the 5th day of the 5th month, Pathstone Foundation kicked off a new interactive campaign to raise vital funds in support of children’s mental health through and beyond the COVID-19 crisis.

With the cancellation of dozens of community events due to the pandemic, we are estimating a financial loss of close to $200K in the coming months. These much-needed funds are used to support various programs and services including our Walk-In clinics and 24/7 Crisis & Support Line.

The 5Five5 Challenge is a simple campaign designed to encourage interaction from a safe distance, physical activity and generosity of spirit. You can take on the challenge and nominate friends, family, co-workers, etc.

Here is how it works.

1) Donate $5 online at the Pathstone Foundation

2) Do ANY activity for 5 minutes (some great examples can be found here)

3) Nominate and tag 5 others to take on and issue their own challenge and when you do, tag us too!

The 5 Five5 Challenge is open to anyone of any age, the only requirement is that the activity needs to be safe and follows social distancing.

The challenge can be anything for five minutes! Skip, do sit-ups, run the stairs, cut your hair (or maybe not). Let your imagination run wild. Video your challenge, then post it with the #The5Five5Challenge. Michelle Begin- Fundraising & Community Engagement Coordinator

We want our community to get and stay active and support Pathstone at the same time. Exercise and philanthropy are scientifically proven ways to enhance your mental well-being and increase happiness. Kim Rossi- Director of Philanthropy & PR
