This resource is a recording of a webinar that included almost 1500 participants. It was presented by Brianna Olson and hosted by the Western University Centre for Research and Education in Violence Against Women and Children.

The webinar content is designed to help participants:

  • Gain a basic understanding of brain/body connection, survival responses, and Indigenous philosophies of higher thought and wisdom;
  • Unpack and problematize western pathology in relation to trauma responses; and
  • Consider approaches to supporting trauma rooted in a holistic paradigm.
