By identifying leading injury priorities, Niagara Region Public health can allocate resources to these areas in a focused effort to reduce the impact injuries have on Niagara. This can be achieved by collaborating with community organizations to implement comprehensive injury prevention strategies that address risk factors and enhance protective factors through education, environmental supports, and enforcement.
