This 10th edition report predicts Canadians’ annual food costs in 8 categories: Bakery, Dairy, Fruits, Meat, Other, Restaurants, Seafood and Vegetables. In 2020, food prices are predicted to increase 2 to 4%,. This will bring the annual food expenditure for an average Canadian family to $12,667, which is an annual increase of $487.
