Topic: Women in Action – Newcomer Needs and Community Involvement!
The Panel Presentation features two Niagara Area women and their work in organizations that help provide support to newcomers from other countries. There are many grass roots organizations working to offer assistance when a need is identified in the community. This session features local women sharing their involvement through two Community organizations that offer help to the diverse and growing number of people moving into Niagara and in need of a wide variety of refugee and immigrant settlement supports and services.
