This is a recording of the Thursday, April 3, 2025 webinar hosted by Community Potential, in partnership with the Niagara Community Foundation and the UNESCO Chair on Community Sustainability at Brock University. The webinar examines how Niagara’s unique collaborative of ten food banks, FEED Niagara, is taking action to be resourceful in meeting the growing needs of individuals and families in Niagara’s diverse communities.
Presenter Paula Barrett highlights FEED Niagara priorities, and shows how local food banks are increasingly integrated with broader social services in Niagara. This collective work being done in Niagara supports Canada’s commitment to achieving UN Sustainable Development Goal #2 – Zero Hunger, and Goal #17 – Partnerships for the Goals.
