The impacts of climate change, here and globally, include: changes in warm weather growing seasons; lower water levels in the Great Lakes; greater stress on public infrastructure from extreme weather events; heat stress on vulnerable people; increased demand on emergency services and impacts on tourism and recreation. This progress report presents Ontario’s strategies to address climate change, as well as provincial case studies.
