In partnership with the Age-Friendly Niagara Council and INCommunities/211, Niagara Connects hosted a December, 2021 webinar to launch the new Older Adult Infolink site. It is designed for older adults, their caregivers and family, as well as service providers supporting older adults, to have easier, enhanced and more centralized access to information about community services in Niagara.

Programs and services listed on Older Adult Infolink are shared from the 211 data collection. Links to municipal Community Leisure Guides in all 12 local areas of Niagara are also provided.

The Age-Friendly Niagara Council (AFNC) is a group of local citizens, volunteers, community partners and municipal leaders who have joined together to learn about, take action on and champion World Health Organization (WHO) age-friendly community principles. The AFNC envisions Niagara as a ‘community for all ages’.
