NIEC is a region-wide multi-stakeholder collaboration of businesses, community organizations, immigrants and 3 levels of governments. It was created to enhance Niagara’s diversity and economic prosperity by strengthening its capacity to attract, recruit and retain internationally trained immigrants who have chosen Canada as their destination. The work of NIEC is also highlighted in the Sustainable Niagara Action Database.
