A new consolidated Niagara Transit system is being considered.

Niagara Region and all 12 local municipalities are considering moving to one consolidated transit system for all of Niagara. This single system would take the place of the various Regional and local systems currently in place across the region.

In the fall of 2021, the municipal Councils from each local area municipality, and Niagara Regional Council will vote on whether or not they will be adopting this proposed consolidated transit system.
