In Celebration of UNESCO’s World Bird Migration Day (May 10, 2017) and the third year of the project on chimney swift, Brock Environmental Sustainability Research Centre and the UNESCO Chair in Community Sustainability are inviting you to a birding event.

The event aims to introduce this special bird. Chimney swifts have been sighted not only downtown St Catharines, including the former Canada Hair Cloth Co. Limited, which is now the Brock University’s Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts but in many parts of Niagara.

The evening will include a couple of presentations to introduce the bird and describe the results of the first two years of the projects. You will then walk to the Walker School to observe the birds (hopefully we still have our family or more a roost?).

Join the ERSC for an interesting evening of birding in town. Make sure to bring your binoculars!

This event is hosted by Brock University’s Environmental Sustainability Research Centre.
