Why, as individuals, do we not fully engage in climate change mitigation and adaptation behaviours, given the overwhelming evidence that climate change is an existential threat to the wellbeing and survival of our species?

This talk by Dr. Gary Pickering considers this question within the Canadian context by highlighting recent empirical studies from his lab, and discusses the implications for effective environmental communication around climate change.

Everyone is welcome to this transdisciplinary seminar.
