St. Catharines older adults are invited to the third annual Older Adults Forum.

The forum is an interactive session for older adults to ask questions and share feedback about City programs and services. Mayor Walter Sendzik will provide an update about Council’s strategic plan and priorities. City councillors and staff will be in attendance and report back to Council on ideas and opportunities from the forum. Following the discussion, residents will be able to meet with service providers and agencies to answer questions about services for older adults.

The older adults forum began in 2015 as a new way to engage the older adult community. The last two forums have attracted hundreds of participants and feedback has helped the City make improvements to programs and services including the addition of activities at the older adult centres, the return of summer concerts in the park and changes to St. Catharines Transit and para transit services.

All are welcome and there is no cost to attend. It is not necessary to be a member of a St. Catharines older adult centre to participate. RSVP to mayor@stcatharines.ca or call 905-688-5601 ext. 1540.

The Dunlop Dr. Older Adults Centre is located at 80 Dunlop Dr. and is accessible from St. Catharines Transit route 307, Niagara St.

This forum is hosted by the City of St. Catharines.
