Please join us for a free live webinar as part of Brock University’s Lifespan Development Research Institute’s community Speaker Series – Experiences of Youth Dancers and their Families on Thursday, April 8 from 6 to 7 p.m. EST

Topic:

Youth dancers and their parents are used to being part of a tight dance community in which they spend significant amounts of time training, rehearsing, and performing in addition to the other activities associated with their everyday lives. This free webinar presented by Brock University’s Dr. Dawn Zinga, along with graduate students Melissa Blackburn and Natalie Tacuri will explore those experiences while discussing:

  • How participation in competitive dance may contribute to health and well-being
  • The impact of the COVID pandemic on youth dancers and their families

How do I register? This webinar is free and open to the public, but registration is required to gain access to the online event. RSVP online at https://brocku.ca/lifespan-development-research/youth-dancers/
