Screening of the Film Over18

“9 out of 10 boys and 6 out of 10 girls are exposed to pornography before the age of 18.” (Source: Nature and Dynamics of Internet Pornography Exposure for Youth).

The porn industry has taken over in a way that was never imagined possible and it has had devastating effects on even our youngest generation. Of the youth that have viewed pornography online, 94% had seen it by the age 14. (NSPCC and Middlesex University London Report)

This event hopes to provide a deeper understanding of the growing epidemic of hardcore porn usage, proposes solutions for preventing exposure and addiction, and will provide resources, support and “next steps” for individuals who have struggled themselves, or find their family struggling. This event is for teens, adults, parents, teachers, and anyone who works with children and youth.
