Join us to learn how Peer Support Navigators in Niagara are helping to reduce barriers faced by people experiencing homelessness, while they are accessing hospital Emergency Departments. This webinar will be of particular interest to anyone who wants to learn about Peer Support and the prevalence and issues related to homelessness in Niagara.

The Niagara HELPS partnership is excited to be spearheading a new peer initiative that involves individuals with lived experience utilizing both their compassion and knowledge of community resources. The program also assists hospital Emergency Department staff with deepening their knowledge and understanding of the experience of homelessness, and the barriers faced by this population.

During this interactive webinar, Niagara HELPS Project leaders, Peer Support Navigators, and project researchers will share knowledge about:
-Peer Support Programs in Niagara and beyond
-HELPS Project origins and research
-How project data collection will help the homeless population
