Did you know that 30% of Niagara secondary students have played drinking games in the past 4 weeks? Or that 20% of grade 7 and 8 students don’t always wear a seatbelt while in a vehicle? Find out more with Niagara’s Ontario Student Drug Use and Health Survey results!

During this 2-hour interactive session, you can expect:

  • A presentation highlighting the findings and trends from the 2015 data
  • To receive tools to help you share this data with your colleagues, partners and target audiences, including 11 infographics (some examples shown below) and a report
  • An opportunity to discuss ways you and your colleagues can help impact these statistics

The results will cover information about health-related behaviours, attitudes and beliefs from grades 7-12 students in Niagara. Health topics discussed will include: mental health and addictions, tobacco, alcohol, cannabis, other drug use, physical activity, healthy eating, road safety, head injuries, family and school environments.

Please RSVP to confirm your attendance with melanie.seguin@niagararegion.ca by July 4, 2017.

This lunch & learn is hosted by Niagara Region Public Health.
