We will be using the Procreate App – a user-friendly program for a variety of applications. We will learn some basic usage –creating a ‘canvas’ and sizing it for printing or sharing on social media, changing brushes and brush sizes, where your work goes when it ‘saves’, importing and exporting images (including sharing with others and on social media), file types, using layers, picking colour palettes and so much more. We will put our new skills to work to create a symmetrical drawing with variations, and an image using photography and textures.
Prerequisite: Basic Art knowledge (Colour theory, Design Principles, Composition, etc); familiarity and experience using an iPad
