This webinar is both an information session and an invitation to participate in The Kitchen Table Conversations for Action on Inclusion.
There are six opportunities to participate in this information session (see EventBrite page for more information).
Operating from February 2017 – March 31, 2018, the project aims to develop an organizational culture that values diversity in leadership within small community organizations in rural areas, and helps them to pursue the goal of becoming more diverse, equitable and inclusive. Recognizing that isolated interventions often fall short of creating a culture of inclusion, ongoing support and engagement is built into the project.
The main component of the project will engage participants, across Ontario, in a series of structured discussions to assist individuals and groups recognize the need to advance inclusive leadership through collective transformative change. Through the process they will identify initiatives needed to work towards this goal. The small, informal settings of Kitchen Table Conversations provide an opportunity for people to express their ideas, opinions and concerns in a safe environment while building and strengthening community/sector networks.
This webinar is hosted by the Ontario Healthy Communities Coalition (OHCC) & the Ontario Network of Employment Skills Training Programs (ONESTEP).
