The City of St. Catharines is proud to host one of the very first “High Five – Principles of Healthy Aging” training course in Ontario!

Parks and Recreation Ontario’s High Five program has been running the Principles of Healthy Childhood Development for over 15 years. They have now finally launched an older adult equivalent. The course is still in the final stages of development however there will be approx. 20+ pilot courses which will be hosted throughout the province in the next 90 days to test the curriculum. The courses are being offered at no charge ($95.00+ value) however participants will become legitimately certified.

This course is ideal for all recreation practitioners including staff, volunteers, instructors and program conveners who currently work with older adults. Space is limited and is available on a first-come first-served basis.

Dress casual/sporty and bring your own lunch, snacks, and refillable water bottle. To register, contact Lori Mambella at at lmambella@stcatharines.ca or 905-688-5601 ext. 1923.

This session is hosted by the City of St. Catharines.
