GO Open Data Association is excited to present its eighth annual conference – and the first total virtual. Our theme this year is “Open for Community Well-being”.  This year we have added a 3rd day to provide more value to more people.  Here are some highlights:

  • Thursday May 6 Workshops from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Four workshops (1 1/2 hours each) on Data Governance, Open Data Standards, Data Analytics and Visualization, and COVID-19 Open Data Ecosystem
  • Friday May 7 Conference day from 9:00 a.m.to 5:00 p.m. Conference morning has the Leaders Keynote panel, Community Well-being Action panel, Youth Panel with the afternoon kicking off with Lightning talks, a session on Ethical AI and concluding with a ChangeMakers panel and a concluding GOODcafé for connecting and discussing the day’s outcomes.
  • Saturday May 8 Hackathon from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 pm.  This day includes pitches for the challenges that participants can choose from, the actual “hacking” time for the challenges, optional Lightning talks, the challenge results and awards.
