This four-hour introductory workshop is designed to aquaint Niagara’s co-op, economic development and social enterprise communities to the Flourishing Business Canvas Model and support learning in how to design and apply the model from the ideation stage.

This workshop will give participants the chance to interact directly with the model and its facilitators, as well as meet and network with like-minded community builders.

Based on peer-reviewed significant practical validation in over sixty workshops and labs in eight countries with over 1,400 people, plus published peer-reviewed research, this experience will be useful and relevant to Niagara – providing insight and new perspective to enable social entrepreneurs and co-operative leaders to further strengthen their plans for their enterprise and the plan to bring it to market at scale.

While this workshop is complimentary upon Eventbrite registration, participants are asked to pay $10 on the day of the event to assist with food and beverage costs.

Part 2: A day-long intensive workshop will take place on Thursday, April 6th for pre-approved working groups of co-ops and social enterprises ready to take an in-depth look at their organization using this canvas. For information about this exclusive event or to register your organization, please email pam(at)hummingbirdcommunications(dot)ca directly. There will be a cost per group, to attend.

This workshop is hosted by the Niagara Co-op Network.
