The history and the stories that reside in one place over many, many years are often stranger, more dramatic and more wonderful than fiction ever could be.

Ravello, Italy, high above the Amalfi Coast, is such a place. The art history, art, architecture and artifacts of this astonishing area unlocks and gives palpable evidence to these true stories.

While the Ravello of the twentieth and twenty-first century has had its share of intrigue as a secret get away for D. H. Lawrence, Greta Garbo, and Jackie Kennedy to name a few, it is when we travel back to Renaissance, Medieval and Roman Ravello that the walls do whisper, speak and shout of human experience that brings the historic past alive.

The visual arts that have been lovingly and remarkably preserved in Ravello and Amalfi give veracity to what otherwise could be only myth and rumour.

Experience, see and feel this wonderful place through the many unique images that will illustrate the story and make the history tangible.
