February Education Topic: Evaluation 101

This workshop will provide tools for understanding evaluation and offer a step by step approach to conduct successful evaluation within your organization and programs.

This ED Forum professional development session will help to clarify:

  • The purpose of evaluation and how evaluation can lead to learning
  • Engaging stakeholders in the evaluation process, including funders, community members, and program participants
  • Assessing resources and evaluability
  • Determining your evaluation questions to achieve your evaluation goals
  • Determining appropriate measure methods and procedures including what to measure, when to collect data, from whom to collect data and collection methods
  • Developing an evaluation plan
  • How to collect data
  • How to process and analyze data
  • Interpreting and disseminating data results
  • Application of evaluation findings
