This workshop will provide insight into the impact of trauma and attachment on adolescence. Workshop focus will include a variety of strategies for promoting safety and engaging at risk youth. Research, resources, and intervention strategies will be shared.
Through this training participants will gain an awareness of:
- the impact of attachment and trauma on adolescence and self concept;
- the sensory function of at risk behaviours;
- experiential review of practical intervention strategies;
- assessment, treatment formulation, and outcome measures for working with adolescents through a trauma informed lens.
