We are excited to announce we are extending the early bird deadline for registration for this year’s Canadian Open Data Summit in Whitehorse.

We have chosen to do this because we will be releasing the agenda shortly, and want to give people a chance to see the great list of speakers and sessions.

Already we can see that the agenda for #CODS22 will have a strong value proposition featuring:

  • Sessions in both official languages of Canada
  • A wide-ranging professional development component from introductory to policy levels
  • Several presentations and discussions regarding Indigenous Data Sovereignty
  • A complete introductory Data-Driven Entrepreneurship Programme that also encompasses intrapreneurship
  • Key personalities and organizations of the Open Data movement from around the world, like Open Data Charter, Global Data Barometer, Open Data Institute, and the CKAN project

We also hope by extending the deadline it will give you a chance to not only register but also invite your peers to join.

Register at Eventbrite before midnight on Friday, September 23rd, 2022 to take advantage of our early bird discount.  Student discounts will be available until the Summit date, and Members of the Canadian Open Data Society receive a special rate for Summit registration throughout as well!

We continue to recommend that practitioners and members of the Open Data community in Canada attend in person, in order to access the complete range of Summit proceedings, live networking options, the legendary attractions of Whitehorse Yukon, and much more!
