In 2019, BCM (Bertie and Clinton Mutual) Insurance Company launched their Community Grants Program. Since then, more than $355,000 has been granted to non-profit organizations across the Niagara region. BCM’s goal through this program is to strengthen local non-profit organization’s capacity to continue to do their great work in serving Niagara’s communities.
At a recent Board meeting, the directors approved allocating over $120,000 to the program for 2021.

The application deadline for 2021 grants is March 1st and all applicants much discuss their proposal with the Community Grants Administrator prior to February 22nd. Contact information for the Administrator is firstname.lastname@example.org
Update: One of the program eligibility criteria in the BCM Community Grants Program is that an organization’s operating budget must be under $2 million. We recognize that the one-time pandemic-related grants from various funders have increased some organization’s operating budgets past the $2 million mark. Given this, BCM will accept grant applications from organizations whose operating budget, less the one-time pandemic grants, does not exceed $2 million.
