In 2019, Age-friendly Peterborough (AFP) began a project to consolidate many community service directories and identify all health services and housing options available to older residents who live in the City and County of Peterborough and Curve Lake and Hiawatha First Nations. The information was provided to Community Connection 211 who developed a Peterborough Seniors Service Directory website. The tool can be used by older adults, their families and caregivers, senior sector service providers, and health professionals. The project was a launching point for other Task Forces such as Housing, Social Isolation, Communication, and Volunteerism.

This webinar will go through the development of this project, including partnerships made and resulting Task Forces, and what other age-friendly communities can learn from these experiences.

More information about the project is available in The Age-friendly Peterborough 2017-2020 Impact Report.
