As nonprofits and charities, we build and sustain resilient communities. Healthy organizations mean we can do more for communities. That includes retirement security for nonprofit workers.

With one million nonprofit workers, it’s estimated that half of workers don’t have a pension plan. And 45% of these jobs are part-time and/or non-permanent. Adding to this are uncompetitive wages which hamper the abilities of organizations to recruit and retain talent, and constrain the impact of organizations.

Now we’ve got a roadmap for a plan that’s affordable and accessible to workers and employers, portable and can support our work to recruit and retain a talented workforce.

Learn about the ONN’s new report outlining a framework to develop a sector-wide pension plan for Ontario nonprofit workers.

During this one-hour webinar, you will:

  • Learn about the recommendations of ONN’s Pensions Task Force to build a sector-wide pension plan
  • See how this work strengthens a decent work movement in Ontario and how it connects to your organization
  • Get started with some recommended pensions literacy resources
  • Get your answers about the pension framework answered on the spot

This webinar is hosted by the Ontario Nonprofit Network.
