The 3rd Annual Conference is anticipated to occur in May 2023. The planned theme for the 2023 conference is “Building Better Communities for People: Introducing the Healthy Community Guidelines”.
The Healthy Community Guidelines consists of evidence-based practice-informed Guidelines co-created by over 100 multi sector partners in Canada and anticipated for release prior to the conference and includes all 3 scales, i.e. Neighbourhood, Site, and Building, that can be improved for healthy living. The 2023 FCFT Canada Conference will highlight best practices in policy, planning and design strategies at the 3 scales.
