In 2012 the Niagara Region released the Sustainable Niagara Phase 3 Action Plan, which describes the community’s vision for what Niagara could look like in 2060, the goals to work towards, and the actions that will support the goals.
To support the Sustainable Niagara Action Plan, this Action Bank was developed to profile an inventory of actions that community members are carrying out that contribute to Sustainable Niagara’s goals. It is used to showcase actions and best practices supporting sustainability across the region, and is a resource for organizations to identify opportunities for collaboration. The actions are organized under the 8 goal areas identified in the Sustainable Niagara Phase 3 Action Plan (2013).
